Bellini: Vaga luna che inargenti

A quick recording using a backing track I hadn’t found previously: a much more relaxed tempo than that used by “Dr. Eunae Ko Han - Collaborative Piano Studio”, which I’d previously recorded with. Still, the fermata notes are very difficult to time with a backing track and there is a funny art, when using a fixed backing track that was made outside of my control, to making things not too out of time, which would be unnatural, but also keeping things together.

The initial recordings in early April were not in my best voice at all: with the relative humidity recently hovering around 30–40%, it has been hard to stay properly lubricated, and the cracks in my voice are very evident here.

On 2026-04-22 I got 2 acceptable takes, after a good night’s sleep (and presumably my body having acclimated to the new weather).
